Here is a shot of todd, myself and troy after a 5.2 mile run look at todd and troy they look fine, now look at me, I look like I am about ready to pass out... because I am... enjoy and don't laugh too hard.

Deep End

It is official, I have officially gone off of the deep end. I have been training the past few weeks for a grandmas marathon [don't let the name fool you] it is a 26.2 mile marathon in June, 2 days before we leave for Scotland which I am so pumped about. anyway back to the story. I am running this with two other people from our church, one youth leader and a board member. We have this training schedule that is tough, and as I have been running and miles are adding up there are times I have felt like why am I doing this or what is the need, and the thoughts of you can quit at any time begin to cross my mind. and then it hit me living for God is like training for a marathon it is tough and to have a growing relationship it times effort and discipline, it is so much easier to not train and do something else but what would that accomplish... check out this verse that deals with running and training...

2 Timothy 4:7 (New International Version)

7"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."

So don't give up... keep running after God, and most importantly finish the race it will be so worth it... when you feel like quiting and giving up dig in, you won't regret it...
